With Leo Fender in 1990 on the day we signed our G & L endorsement.

Ginger Baker, Randy and Gary recording at Ginger's ranch in 1991. On the way home we were driving 95 MPH down the 405 through L.A. at 2:00 AM. A female highway patrol officer pulled us over. She saw the gear in the back and asked us what we were doing. She then said that she had been in a Lover Boy video a few years back and understood how beat we must have been so she let us go with a warning. Only in Los Angeles.
